NOVA Water was EXCELLENT. I had to be patient after a couple of weeks because the water in the whole house had to be filtered through the tanks. It takes awhile after install. But after 2 months, with the salt water softener, the NOVA system is Amazing!!! I get the soft soapy feel when I am in the shower. The drinking water has no iron taste at all and my appliances, washers, dishwasher are in EXCELLENT condition due to the clean water so the metal does not have any calcium buildup whatsoever.

I was looking for a contractor to replace an old water softener. Came across NOVA Water and liked the fact that it's a local family owned business. I called them at lunchtime and they came out that afternoon to asess what I needed and gave me a quote within an hour. They had all the necessary equipment on hand and came back later that week to do the installation. Technicians were courteous and knowledgable and did a nice job on the softener install and related plumbing work.

Spoke to several companies that install water softener systems. NOVA water had the best prices and more importantly, Chuck was amazing. Even if they didn’t have the best prices, I would’ve still chosen them because Chuck was so kind and professional. We couldn’t give them a high enough recommendation. If you live in northern Virginia, we live in Reston ourselves - Fairfax County water is terrible. Our chlorine from the kitchen sink tested higher than a swimming pool. In my opinion, every house in Fairfax County should have a whole home water softener and carbon filter setup. When we moved here, we added 30 gallons of water from the bathtub to a freshwater fish tank, and even when using products that make tap water safe, all of our fish died because the water here is so bad. We wouldn’t drink out of the tap. Now with the water softener system and the huge carbon filter, our water is safe to drink. That piece of mind for our family is priceless. Now, when the kids take a bath or shower or brush their teeth, I don’t have to worry about the chemicals they are ingesting. If you live in Fairfax County and you’re reading this review, call Chuck and get a free water test and estimate for your home. You can take me later!

When I reached out months later for help disconnecting the system for home repairs, they sent me a personalized video showing me exactly how to do it myself. Truly great people who go the extra mile. I wish I could give this company 10 stars. Chuck is a real pro, and installed a water softening system, a sand filter and a cartridge filter for our well system in about three hours. The installation configuration was in a tight space, and was organized and perfectly laid out. They are very responsive and prices very reasonable. If your house has a well, you need to get this system as your well will inevitably spit up sediment that will clog your sinks and toilets. Be proactive and head off this major headache with this company's equipment and expertise.

My only regret in working with Nova Water LLC is that I did not hire them years ago! Chuck came and completely transformed my water from orange, rust laden liquid to a clear, pristine flow that no longer stains my toilets and showers. I can now move forward on a basement remodel, fully confident that the hardware will not be compromised by ferric water.in addition to installing my water treatment system, Chuck went the extra mile and cleaned out the filter on my faucet in the kitchen, patiently showing me how to do this myself, not that I will need to again in the future!

Amazing company, we moved into a house that had a system with no maintenance records to speak of, we ran into a problem with pressure throughout the house. We had a Puronics system and there are no local techs for that company.They were out to inspect the system quickly. They gave us a solid education in the system and a quote for refurbishing the system was not a sticker shock. (Puronics gave us a steep price tag without even inspecting the system)They were extremely professional throughout the process. They were on time and efficient in the job. Absolutely top notch!

I contacted NOVA Water for a low water pressure issue I had in the home. We have well water and it has heavy iron. We have had the water conditioning system in place for at least 15yrs and have had some maintenance done during that time for proper up keep. We have even had the pressure tank replaced approx 5 years ago. During the 1st visit Chuck (the owner) immediately identified the issue as being iron build up in the water line just before the tank due to an original aeration device that was installed under what was "proper code" at that time. Chuck replaced all the affected plumbing which had an immediate impact in returning our household water pressure back to normal! Additionally he recommended we replace our neutralizer tank with an iron breaker system. Because our water pH is 7.0-7.2 the neutralizer was not needed. Chuck returned again with wit the proper parts to get the system to the level it always should have been at. Our water is no cleaner than it has ever been, no iron residue in appliances like toilets etc and the pressure is amazing! I have had this system serviced regularly every year and none of the other companies ever recognized or recommended the fixes that NOVA Water implemented! Thank you to Chuck and the team!!!

We couldn’t be happier with NOVA Water. All the water in our home comes from a well system, and the iron content is high. Our mixed bed filtration system had reached the end of its service life, and we needed to replace it, so we contacted multiple vendors for assessments and quotes. Chuck tested our water, and then designed a system using a different approach to remove the iron. He answered all our questions, and didn’t try to upsell or recommend equipment we didn’t need. His approach has vastly improved our water quality and significantly reduced our routine operations and maintenance cost, all at an extremely competitive price. Veronica was responsive and did a great job with scheduling and payment. Service was timely and professional; installation was efficient, equipment quality is superb. Highly recommend.
