Nova Water is the best and most affordable water softener technicians/installers we’ve been lucky enough to have been working with for the past couple of years on our recently purchased home! They have been recommended to me by my parents since they have been using them for their home water softening system for 10+ years now and have not had a problem since. There is no doubt in my mind I will be using them again when I build another home on my property in the future!

Great work. Very clean and quick job. Prices, work, and water testing are much more affordable and efficient that a big box store or a company doing heavy advertising.

Installed a whole house filtration and softener system and under the sink reverse osmosis system…we’re not a week in yet but so far so good. Another thing to note is that they were. They were not pushy and “salesy” like the other companies I had come In for estimates.

Such a great experience and I would highly recommend! Once we got our whole house system changed out, not only did the quality of the water improve dramatically but the water pressure did as well! Very professional experience from start to finish. After filling out the inquiry form, I quickly received an email requesting my phone number, and my appointment for testing was scheduled right away. From scheduling through completion, Veronica stayed in touch and kept everything on track.I also appreciated their approach—they understand customers like to shop around and are completely respectful of that. NOVA Water was EXCELLENT. I had to be patient after a couple of weeks because the water in the whole house had to be filtered through the tanks. It takes awhile after install. But after 2 months, with the salt water softener, the NOVA system is Amazing!!! I get the soft soapy feel when I am in the shower. The drinking water has no iron taste at all and my appliances, washers, dishwasher are in EXCELLENT condition due to the clean water so the metal does not have any calcium buildup whatsoever.

I was looking for a contractor to replace an old water softener. Came across NOVA Water and liked the fact that it's a local family owned business. I called them at lunchtime and they came out that afternoon to asess what I needed and gave me a quote within an hour. They had all the necessary equipment on hand and came back later that week to do the installation. Technicians were courteous and knowledgable and did a nice job on the softener install and related plumbing work.

Over priced, same size factory units that everyone gets, to include not being able to get service after original installation. Chuck is a water certified expert that takes your test results and custom blends your filtration tanks according to your water test results. Great work Chuck and Veronica!

Had a great and seamless experience. The owner came out for the first visit to take a look at our unit. He was very knowledgable and even told us which filters to get off of Amazon. We scheduled another day to get the work we needed done and again, it was completed without complication.They are easy to schedule, easy to work with, and very communicative. Spoke to several companies that install water softener systems. NOVA water had the best prices and more importantly, Chuck was amazing. Even if they didn’t have the best prices, I would’ve still chosen them because Chuck was so kind and professional. We couldn’t give them a high enough recommendation. If you live in northern Virginia, we live in Reston ourselves - Fairfax County water is terrible. Our chlorine from the kitchen sink tested higher than a swimming pool. In my opinion, every house in Fairfax County should have a whole home water softener and carbon filter setup. When we moved here, we added 30 gallons of water from the bathtub to a freshwater fish tank, and even when using products that make tap water safe, all of our fish died because the water here is so bad. We wouldn’t drink out of the tap. Now with the water softener system and the huge carbon filter, our water is safe to drink. That piece of mind for our family is priceless. Now, when the kids take a bath or shower or brush their teeth, I don’t have to worry about the chemicals they are ingesting. If you live in Fairfax County and you’re reading this review, call Chuck and get a free water test and estimate for your home. You can take me later!
